My 8 year old had never had a dry night. She is a deep sleeper and a kid who loves her sleep. She had 2 dry nights within the first week of using the Dri Sleeper Eclipse and hasn’t looked back. The device is so simple to use and she took control of it herself. I wish we had done it earlier!
Worked exactly as described. My 6 year old had never had a dry night and within 10 days was dry and no longer needing the alarm. We had tried many other methods of trying to train him but he just wasn’t waking up in the night. Absolutely solved the problem for us. Highly recommended.
Well done Mr 6! All the best for the future.
After only 4 nights of the alarm going off in the night, our 7 year old was able to wake up on his own and go to the toilet in the night, 2 weeks later he was dry all night and we ditched the pull ups. Wish we’d tried this alarm sooner. Couldn’t believe it worked.
I was shocked how quickly this worked. I should have bought one for my son years ago! I wish it had a volume setting but other than that it solved the problem quickly and my son now wakes himself without any help to use the bathroom at overnight
We are really pleased that Eclipse helped solve your son's bedwetting problem so quickly. There is a volume control in the battery compartment if needed.
Our nearly 7 year old is an incredibly solid sleeper who had never been even close to getting out of nappies at night. Over the last 6 weeks since we started with the alarm we have seen major improvements and she now frequently wakes up dry and some nights wakes herself to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. I wish we had tried this earlier!
We hope the improvements continue and 14 dry nights are reached soon. Good luck!
Our son is a deep sleeper and the alarm does not wake him up without us waking him. It has been a month and so far we have not had success with it
Sorry you havn't seen any progress yet. Please keep an eye out for small victories like fewer or smaller wettings during the night. It can be helpful to celebrate these small signs of progress. I have emailed you some suggestions to help with your deep sleeper. Please let us know how you get on, we are here to help.
I was very dubious as to how the alarm would actual stop my deep-sleeping 6 year old wetting the bed Each night. But, after just 3 weeks, we have successfully completed 2 weeks of consecutive dry nights!
Worth every penny.
Congratulations on getting bedwetting sorted! All the best for the future.
We found the sensor setup to be tricky to initially figure out. We eventually figured out that we needed to wrap the sensor in a Kleenex, and after a considerable time period of trial and error, we found a specific type of pad to put it in that essentially had a built in pocket in the material when we cut it in half. This is hard to describe because it really is a very finicky way to set it up. However, this way the sensor fit tightly in the pad and stayed in place during the night. Only when we had this established (which took a few weeks) did the system start to work. Our 6 year old son had been dry at night previously but regressed and none of the previous approaches worked, so we wanted to try the alarm. We got the set with two alarm bases because my son is a very deep sleeper. The alarm is loud and startling, but my son would still sleep through the noise and fully wet the bed every single time before we got to him and woke him up. After a few weeks of this happening nightly he started to hold it until the morning. I had expected him to learn to wake up in the night when his bladder is full (that’s what the system says it does), but instead he started staying dry without waking up at all instead. This wasn’t exactly how we expected it to happen, but it is a better result actually since everyone is sleeping better. We are happy to be back to dry nights again after 60 days. We are also ready with the alarm again if we experience another regression. It would have been nice if the initial setup had been a little easier, but some perseverance led to figuring out how to make it work for us.
Thanks for the feedback. Congratulations on getting bedwetting sorted!
My 6 year old grand daughter found the hard plastic alarm uncomfortable and a bit big. The alarm sounds like a smoke alarm so that was disconcerting at first, we ended up using two pair of undies, the outer pair had the alarm in it. That kept the alarm snug and it a bit more comfortable. Still using the alarm at week 3, it it only goes off once a night now compared to 3. So making progress.
The blue alarm base should sit on the bedside table, with the small orange sensor inserted between two pairs of underpants. Wrap it in a bit of toilet tissue which may also help. A good alternative is to insert the sensor in a sanitary pad. If you put it beneath the wadding she will hardly notice it. Please watch the placement video: https://vimeo.com/drisleeper/sensorplacement
It may be more comfortable for your child if the sensor is inserted in a pad or diaper under the wadding where it can't easily be felt. Here is a link to the sensor placement video https://vimeo.com/drisleeper/sensorplacement
This product helped my five year old to stay dry in the night previously was wetting multiple times a night even with taking him to the bathroom later in the night before I went to bed. I have given four stars because he would always wet/alarm would go off on night 5. After seeing a chiropractor (recommended by a friend) in conjunction with drisleeper he is now completely dry every night. He always likes to wear alarm as a security blanket which is completely fine by me.
Great news! Congratulations on getting bedwetting sorted.
7 weeks in and been significant improvement but still having accidents. Went from 2-3 a night to 1-2 within a few days, and then often 1 and rarely 2 within a week or 2. And now 6 weeks in probably an accident 2-3 times a week. While I’m sure it works quickly for some, if definitely isn’t going to work for everyone.
We find that it can sometimes move around in our child’s sleep so doesn’t always go off (most times it does but been about 5 times it hasn’t when it should have). Also have found it can off when child is a little hot/sweaty on a hot night. Or if fingers touch the sensor side of the alarm.
Our child is a heavy sleeper so requires us to wake him as the alarm doesn’t wake him often.
Good product by a marathon it seems in solving the issue.
Typically, Bedwetting Alarm Training takes up to 12 weeks with improvement along the way. Heavy Sleepers can try the priming, recall or visualisation strategies to help if needed. Sometimes a reward programme can help for them, particularly if motivation becomes a problem. To avoid problems with sweat, wrap the sensor in a piece of toilet tissue before inserting it. Please let me know how you get on.
Brilliant works, no more wet nights after 2 weeks. 3 small leaks, alarm went off 3 times just a dribble. Since then nothing for the last 8 week, bone dry..
Congratulations on a great result!
We purchased this alarm for our 6 year old son who would pee so much that it would leak through his pull up over his bed nearly every night. The first week of the alarm and we were all motivated to make this work, he would fly out of bed as soon as the alarm went off and try his hardest to finish his wee in the toilet. By the second week he had stopped doing his 1am wee and would make it through to about 5am and the alarm would go off but this would just be a dribble and he would finish the full wee in the toilet. By the 3rd week he was not even setting the alarm off and was waking up to go to the toilet all by himself. We haven’t used the alarm now for a week and a half and have only had 1 accident. He is so proud of himself and loves waking up dry. Best purchase we have made and it really does work.
I am really pleased he is proud of his accomplishment of becoming dry at night. A great result, well done!
The alarm works fine, and our son doesn’t wet the bed anymore - to be honest we never had more than 1/2 “real” alarms - he was getting there anyway.
But around £100 for a very small, quite badly made item (cheap plastic, you can’t even replace battery) is a bit much.
Thanks for your review. I am very pleased that your son doesn't wet the bed anymore, that is great news. I'm sorry if it appeared badly made to you. The plastic on the wireless sensor is in fact an innovative conductive plastic which is certainly not cheap. Using plastic means we avoid putting any exposed metal on the sensor which is ideal for both safety, comfort and durability. The Urosensor is repeatedly submersed in urine so is required to be permanently sealed. The battery in the sensor typically lasts longer than the normal treatment period of 3 months so doesn't usually require the sensor being replaced. The battery in the base unit can be replaced with a Panasonic CR2354 battery. The product is manufactured in New Zealand by an ISO9001 specialist manufacturing facility to a very high standard. If you had a particular issue with it, please let let me know. If cost is an issue, alarms with a cord are a lot cheaper for the budget concious parent - checkout the DRI Sleeper Excel.
My 8yo had never had a dry night when we started using the bed wetting alarm. To start with the alarm went off 4 times a night and I had to wake up my son every time. Within a week we started seeing progress with him waking up to the alarm. 3 weeks later we started having dry nights and now my son has been dry every night for 2 weeks! The best result I could have asked for, worked really well for us!
I am so pleased the bedwetting alarm worked for him. A great effort to respond four times in a night, progressing to being dry in a month. Well done!
Very Easy to use. My 9 year old can use it all by herself . It has helped my daughter stop wetting the bed each night! Highly recommend. We have tried others with a cord, but the wireless is much more convenient.
Thanks for your review. We are so pleased the wireless alarm helped get bedwetting sorted.
