Sound sleeper

Unfortunately, it wasn’t loud enough to wake up our sound sleeping 6 year old but just having it on him made him more aware. He is now fully nighttime trained and also we have to do is wake him up at 10 pm to use the bathroom before we go to sleep. So very happy it worked for him.

Fantastic! So pleased that it worked for him. Well done.

Really useful product

We had been struggling to get my daughter dry at night. She was dry within just a couple of weeks using this product.

The struggle is over! Great news. All the best for the future.

worked in a week

Really worked in a week time.

We still can't believe it made a difference so quickly as our child is a very, very deep sleeper..We struggled with this issue for at least a couple of years beforehand, and we saw progress/results in the very first week of trial!!
We can't recommend it enough!

We are so pleased it worked quickly. Well done!

Great piece of kit

Small and discreet alarm loud enough for my son to hear and not the entire house

Fingers crossed

After trying all the other options (no nappy, reward chart etc.), I decided to go ahead and buy a bedwetting alarm from our 7yo. His sister had been dry from 2yrs and she was starting to tease him about it. The difference between the two is that our 7yo is a very heavy sleeper who would often sleep through his wetness, unfortunately a habit he has picked up from us (who were also late at becoming night dry).
After 2 1/2wks of no improvement (and finding out for the first time that some nights he wet twice) and sleeping through the alarm, we had a night where he was lucid when I came in and he disconnected the alarm himself. The next night, he woke up himself to go to the toilet. After that we had 10 days of dryness, one night where he'd gotten as far as wetting his underwear but then stopping, and then another 9 dry nights.
We then had a turn for the worse when I thought it was safe to put the duvet back on (instead of 3 separate blankets) and he wet for six nights. I don't know if he was extra cosy and so went into a deeper sleep??! But we got past this and now we're on day 6 of dry nights.
So after all that, I'd strongly recommend you buying this device. I read comments about using an elastic band to keep the cord attached and so far we haven't had it disconnect in his sleep. He has managed to remove the whole thing in his sleep though somehow! We use it with the sensor tucked between 2 pairs of underwear (the outer pair are slightly tighter) and with full pyjamas on. And he is both a tummy and back sleeper with I'm sure a lot of movement in between and it's always worked as needed.

Thanks for the feedback and it is great to hear your son is making solid progress. Congratulate him on behalf of the DRI Sleeper team for a great effort.

Excellent product

A bit sceptical after my sons has not gone through the night in 8 years. Worked an absolutely treat, he's now gone 2 weeks completely dry.

Congratulations that is a great result!

It worked!!

My 6yr old boy was wetting the bed twice each night consistently. Having tried various methods to improve the situation I ordered the unit as a last resort.

He took to it pretty well and was quite excited himself to give it a go. There was improvement within the first week and generally we were finding that his bed was not as wet and he was obviously reacting to the alarm. I would then get him up to finish off in the toilet. Sometimes he would be so tired he would be bit of a zombie while I was taking him.

I persevered for about a month but eventually he was getting himself up and going back to bed with the odd accident here and there. As I write this he has had only one accident in the last two weeks.

Great product.

That is great progress!

Best and most effective device we have used

I was a little sceptical as to how the alarm would work but within 2 weeks we had our 4yr old waking to go to the toilet. Yay!

Then just like that, she started sleeping through the night not needing the toilet or wetting the bed. We are still dry 2 months later and no alarm for 2 months!

I don’t know how or why this works but it does!

My daughter was most comfortable when we fitted the alarm just under a thin layer of material in the nappy crutch area.

Brilliant! All the best for the future.

Our just turned 7 year old has never had a dry night. Pull ups would be soaking every morning and he was a very deep sleeper. The first two weeks of using the alarm were hard, he never woke up to the sound and would be wet through, twice a night. I was starting to think it wouldn't work for us. It went down to one wake up, he'd still be wet through by the time he woke to the alarm and always refused to go to the toilet as he no longer needed to go! Again I was wondering if he was ever going to be able to be dry! Then during week 4 he had a dry night! Gradually after that he was having more dry nights than not. Hope!! We're now 12 weeks in and he's just had 14 consecutive dry nights!!! He really took control of the sensor and was doing it all himself after a few weeks. Super proud of him (and us! ) for persevering, wished we had done this sooner. What a fantastic product - the tips and after care service have been great. Thank you!

Well done for persevering and achieving 14 dry nights! We are super proud of you guys too!

It worked for us!

Our family recently celebrated 14+ days!!! I am beyond thrilled and relieved that my son has finally mastered his nighttime bed wetting and it only took 5 weeks. He is so happy and has had 3 sleepovers already. Thank you DRI Sleeper!!

Let me tell you a little about our situation. My son is 9. He had never had a dry night for more than 2 or 3 days at a time. I thought he would out grow it. Every year at his wellness checkups, the doctor assured me he would. I’m sure he would have outgrown it on his own eventually but when?? I asked his doc the oldest bedwetting case she had personally seen and she said 12. Would that be my son?! He is a deep sleeper and for whatever reason his brain and his bladder were not speaking to each other at night. When he was 8, he expressed how unhappy he was that he couldn’t go on overnight camping trips with friends or have spend the nights. That’s when I decided it was time to be proactive. Because of all the great reviews, I got the DRI Sleeper Eclipse. After doing my research, I found that this was the best on the market. It’s wireless which was good because my kid moves around l a lot at night. Here are my tips:
1) Be committed. Someone has to be a partner with the child to hear the alarm and make sure he gets up and follows the protocol. They can’t do it alone. The alarm is loud (which is good) but I found that using a simple baby alarm PLACED AWAY FROM THE PEE ALARM worked for me to MAKE SURE I heard the alarm and could get up to help him. Don’t put it next to the pee alarm because the two radio waves will interfere and the alarm won’t go off. I also put the pee alarm on his desk away from the bed so that if he hears it before me he doesn’t get up and turn it off himself and go back to bed. You can also get an additional base for the parent’s room (suggestion for those who have not ordered yet) but I needed something ASAP so the baby monitor was my best option.
2) MacGyver the child's underwear so that there is a pocket the alarm can fit in snugly. I sewed the flaps of his tighty-whities making a j-shape and then had him put a pair on top of those. This worked great. I tried the double underwear without the pocket but the alarm shifted too much.
3) know there will be some nights that things don’t go right. A few nights the alarm didn’t go off because we forgot to turn on the alarm, it wasn’t place right, I didn’t hear it, my son got up and turn it off before I heard it. These were very rare hiccups. We were back on track the next night. I started to see a progresstion of success pretty quickly. Within a week he went from the alarm going off 2 times a night to one. Then the one moved from late night (1am) to early morning (4am). The early morning then phased out to completely dry. I used :) stickers on a calendar to track dry nights and mark what time the alarm went off. The handwriting is bad because I was doing this in the dark and was sleepy. The colors of the sticked do not mean anything.

To anyone reading this and deciding to try a pee alarm, for us it has been 100% worth the money because it worked. It’s a miracle!

Congratulations on achieving 14 dry nights! You have made a tremendous effort to get bedwetting sorted. Thank you for sharing your experience with us; I'm sure it will help other families. We will print out your chart and put it on the Wall of Success.

Worked really well. Our child stopped bed wetting within a week. And 2 months later, not one accident. Thanks

That is a really fast result! Well done.

Massive improvement

After almost 2 months of use I feel we still have a bit of work to do as my 8 year old son still has the occasional accidents but there has been a massive improvement since using the alarm. Prior to use he was wet every night. My son will still sometimes just turn it off and go back to sleep and not recall doing so in the morning but we'll stick with it as I believe we will have cracked it very soon.

It is great that there is significant improvement. To complete the journey you might want to consider using the over-learning technique. Instructions for this can be found in the book A Plan for DRI Nights which is in your Online Resource Kit.

Sleep at last!

Purchased the DRI Sleeper Eclipse Wireless Bedwetting Alarm to help our 8 year old stop wetting the bed. It was hit and miss for about 2 weeks but we persevered and after probably around the 14 day mark he stopped wetting the bed completely. We thought maybe he’d relapse sometime but it’s been almost 2 months and still dry every night. Best decision ever! We have a happy, rested child and we are happy parents having full nights sleep again at last.

Enjoy those full nights of sleep! All the best for the future.

Brilliant system

After patchy dry and wet nights, we have a dry 7 year old after a month of using the wireless alarm system. We had tried limiting liquid, reward charts, lifting. It was easy to use and we are not nearly two months dry!

Congratulations to your 7 year old on being two months dry!

It’s ok

We are about 6 weeks in with my 8 year old and there has been mixed results. We are still having wet beds as sometimes the alarm falls off. Other times it becomes unattached so that it also doesn’t go off. There are some improvements as when it doesn’t fall off or become unattached then it does wake him up and he is a heavy sleeper. Maybe the wireless one would be better as then there would be less of the above problems.

Is the cord being run under the night shirt? Please contact me if you want to go over the attachment method. If he is a restless sleeper he may be better off with a wireless alarm - we can arrange a discount if you want to give it a go.

This must be magic!

Due to the cost I debated buying this product for quite sometime but I'm so glad that I finally did as within a couple of weeks of using this my eight year old son was waking up and taking himself off to the toilet at night, I am still in shock as to how easy it was!

We are pleased it was quick and easy for him. Great effort!

Working so far

Since starting to use the DRI alarm about a month ago, my son has soiled his sheets only once. He is still starting to wet, but the alarm is helping him both wake when he starts to wet but more importantly, he is starting to get up on his own when he needs to go. He feels good about his progress and that he doesn't need his parents to help in the middle of the night. My son is 9, has been bedwetting very frequently until we got the DRI alarm. We are very pleased so far!

That is great progress. Well done!

Great product

We are having some success but it’s a pity the cord wasn’t a lot longer. Also, it unplugs from mat at times. Otherwise, great product.

I hope things continue to go well! Thanks for the feedback.

Great results

As a grandparent who had this problem in my youth I tried everything back then. Doctors had no idea, even tried sewing cotton reels to my pyjamas thinking it was because of rolling onto my back. My son is trying this system with his son and it is absolutely working a treat, I wished I had it when I was growing up.

We are so pleased it is helping your Grandson!

Bigger would be better

My son tends to roll off the mat. It would be good if it was larger and possibly with ‘wings’ to go under the mattress to help it stay in one spot

Thanks for the feedback - it is a helpful insight! Typically we recommend that a sheet is placed over the top to hold it in place.

My 8yr old daughter has finally had success with dry nights since using the Eclipse alarm after it was recommended by a paediatric urologist. It has been a life saver! 4 weeks dry now and counting.
The brolly sheet is fabulous product, is great value for money and a great size for the bed.

Congratulations that is wonderful news! We wish her all the best for the future.
