Sensor for DRI Sleeper Excel

Our Urosensor™ goes right inside the underpants which is the best position for instant detection of urine leakage and it has sensing strips on both sides for maximum exposure to wetness. There are no metal contacts so it won’t corrode or deteriorate in urine.

The Urosensor™ measures 40 x 20 x 3mm (1.6 x 0.7 x 0.2 inches), long enough and wide enough for the first drops of urine to trigger the alarm every time. The cord measures 85cm (33 inches) so it can be worn by older and taller children.

The Urosensor™ is a consumable item just like earphones for an iPod or mobile phone. With reasonable care the Urosensor™ will last for many years. However, it will need replacing from time to time. Because the Urosensor™ is used by a child the exact life of the Urosensor™ is hard to predict. So, just as people often have a spare earphones on hand, our advice is that a spare Urosensor™ is a good idea too.

Safety electronics

The DRI Sleeper® Excel is powered by 4 x 1.5V batteries so it uses only a tiny current. With just a few microamps passing through the Urosensor™ for less than a second you can put the Urosensor™ on your tongue and trigger the alarm but you will feel nothing.  Furthermore, most wired alarms have a current passing through the sensor the whole time the alarm is beeping which can cause the urine to become acidic and irritate sensitive skin. With the DRI Sleeper® excel Urosensor™ once the alarm triggers, the safety electronics isolate it and no more current passes through the Urosensor ™. This means no risk of irritation to your child’s sensitive skin.

Care and cleaning of the DRI Sleeper® excel Urosensor™

The DRI Sleeper® excel Urosensor™ should be rinsed in warm soapy water and dried thoroughly before re-use. Do not use cleaners which are chlorine based or put the Urosensor™ in the washing machine or dryer as this will irreparably damage the sensing strips.

When not in use the Urosensor™ should be unplugged from the alarm to save battery power and stored safely with the alarm unit.

DRI Sleeper Excel - Bedwetting Alarm for Children

S

Works as advertised!

I bought this after trying many other methods to help my daughter stay dry at night. My daughter was also frustrated and eager to try this and I was impressed with how quickly it worked. The first couple of nights, the alarm woke me before it woke her, but I was able to get her to
The bathroom. After that, she had a couple more alarms that she woke to in the early morning and after another week with no alarms, she decided to go without it and has been dry through the night since!! My daughter’s issue was that she is such a sound sleeper, she would not rouse when she experienced the discomfort of a full bladder. The alarm helped her brain make the connection and respond normally. I am so pleased that this worked and have already recommended it to other parents struggling with this issue. Thank you!!

Congratulations on getting bedwetting sorted!

Just like Magic Woooooow

Me and my 10 years old daughter couldn't be happier than now. I've done all the tips and tricks to get her a couple of dry nights, but no use. the doctor meds and advices couldn't do the job either. I searchd online desperately to find a solution when this came out as God's gift. And now she is officially a drisleeper for 55 days in a row. she herself got her self esteem back and is more active now.
Thank you so much for the reliability and the good customer service (N.B. I costed them double the price since my first alarm was lost in shipping..0)

Well done! We are so pleased this has helped your daughters self esteem. We wish her all the best for the future.

Amazing product

My 9 year old was wetting every other day but within a couple of weeks she was completely dry for the 12 day period. She has now been dry for over a mouth and is a much happier child. My only wish is that I'd tried this alarm sooner.

Congratulations on getting bedwetting sorted! We are very happy she is happier, that is wonderful. All the best for the future.

Awesome

After trying everything we could think of we finally decided an alarm was the next step. We had one accident the first week and have now been dry of coming up 8 weeks. I would highly recommend the DRI Sleeper

Congratulations! That is a great result. All the best for the future.

Worked like a charm!

My 5yo went from having accidents nightly to sleeping dry in 4 weeks! So happy we tried this before taking alternative action. Hard work in the first few days to wake them and sleep in the same room, but absolutely worth it

That is a great result. Well done.

So Relieved - This Really Works!

Honestly, we were at our wits end and this bedwetting alarm really worked! I think it took a couple times and it trained my son. He gets up to pee now if he has to, but his brain and bladder are now trained to make it through the night. We couldn't believe how fast it worked. We are now going to use it on our 3 year old. Money well spent. We couldn't be happier, especially my 5.5 year old! Thanks!!

That is a terrific effort! Congratulations.

Questions Parents often ask

Most likely, a bedwetting alarm solves bedwetting for up to 9 in 10 young people. We have many resources and lots of experience so can guide you if needed.

Typically, 70% of young people will be dry in 2 to 12 weeks using our alarms. Some are quicker, some take longer. We encourage you to use the resources we provide and talk to our adviser to get the best outcome for your young person.

Yes it is very safe. Our alarms are registered with regulatory agencies around the world. The wireless sensor transmits twice for 1.3 seconds and ONLY when the alarm triggers. It also uses safe frequencies approved for medical devices.
The sensor contains Safety Electronics which means no risk of skin irrritation.
There are no metal contacts so no part of the sensor will corrode or deteriorate in urine.

We suggest ditching the diapers as they can remove the feeling of wetness which may interfere with the learning process. If you need the diapers to reduce the stress or mess, then go for it.

Children may eventually learn not to wet the bed on their own. If you think about it, you taught them not to wet themselves during the day – why would you not teach them to not wet during the night?

Many children have low levels of the hormones that regulate urine production at night, but DON’T wet the bed. If hormones are an issue then your doctor may prescribe medication to use along with the alarm.

Yes, you can use our strategies for deep sleepers to help them sleep learn to sleep dry. Remember MANY children are deep sleepers and don’t wet the bed.
